| 2002-09-11 | Diji Album Editor | 8 | A highly configurable, robust piece of software which is more than just an album editor - more a multimedia presenter. It can import MP3 files, many image formats, and fits snugly with Xequte's own SmartPix Manager (which is surely one of the best image cataloguers around). Although it is not a difficult program to get to grips with it is worth spending some time digging around through the various menues and option settings to find the programs true worth. Each album can be quite unique, with great text editing facilities (uses MS Word for spell check), and there is also the option to add password security if you want that extra peace of mind. As with the previous version, I do find the interface ever so slightly cluttered - but then where else would you put all the features? All in all this really is worth at least checking out if you wanted something more than JUST an album producer. |
